Love, love this place. It's one of my special treats to get a sea salted matcha latte. They are so good and you can get them with less sugar. I also love to cruffin and the hazelnut muffin. The prices are really good here. Check it out!!

You're probably hungry for pastries and cookies, once in a blue moon or just nuts about them. 85 degrees bakery is all over the place and we have tried them from Westfield Century City Mall to Northridge and Simi Valley branches and they don't fail to satisfy my cravings. I dropped by 85 Degres today to snack on their Tiramisu and oh boy, it was bitter, sweet and creamy chocolatey combined in one gulp. They curate a variety of breads and cakes and also have a long lists of creamy drinks that can complement your sugary needs. Don't get me wrong, their baked goods and drinks are about the same and the store is generally clean and tidy. Staff were polite, nice and smiling as we ordered our cookies and drinks. We tried their Chifffon cakes and it reminded me of my childhood days when I feel I deserved a treat. One observation is their use of fresh fruits and vegetable to enhance their cakes and baked goods, one thing that will make you just want to snort them, in an instant. Their use of special flours and refined sugars enriches the tastes and smells of their breads and cookies. Prices is about averaged and not too expensive, parking is abundant and they're located in beautiful landscapes and malls wherever you may be.

If you know, you know. Before, I had only been to the one in the valley on Tampa, and it was always a treat to go there to grab some snacks and boba during my lunch break or bring back to work for a meeting. What a pleasant surprise to hear the news that this location would be opening in Simi (of all places). I came through during their grand opening and it was packed, no surprise. Most of the free giveaways were gone, but I still got to fill up a bag of fresh baked pastries. The lines these days are not as crazy as back then, and the boba bar menu is pretty extensive. If you're not super hungry or craving a sweet snack, it's good to remember this spot. I've never bought a whole cake or anything in the display, maybe for the next special occasion. I always end up filling my tray with other stuff then get in line before I embarrassingly overflow it or have to get a second tray lol Plenty of parking, next to a McDonalds and some condos. Tempting whenever I drive by to stop in :)

Simi Valley has a taste of the 626 without needing to brave the madness of LA County! 85°C Bakery is holding it down with Asian breads and pastries that hit all the nostalgic and trendy flavor notes. They've got the Taro, Ube and Pork Floss breads stocked like clockwork. None of that "sorry, we're out" nonsense here--just perfectly fluffy, sweet, savory perfection every time. Of course, they've also got the classics like chocolate buns and more bread than you can fit in one tray (though you'll definitely try). Drinks? Oh, they're not playing. From seasonal delights to staples like matcha lattes and their famous sea salt cream drinks, there's always something fresh to sip on while you're sneaking bites of bread you swore you'd save for home. The staff is consistently nice, even when the line gets long (and trust me, it will--this place is no secret). But the vibe stays friendly, and they've got a system down to keep tables clean and ready for the next pastry-loving customer.

This is the Simi Valley answer to Paris baguette and I love it. All my favorite stuff is the same, which includes croissants with sausages, bacon, and even hotdogs inside. You have sweet stuff. You have good coffee and Boba. Honestly, it's like Paris baguette with the same amazing prices. I don't know how they do it. Glad to see this place and also a competitor to Paris baguette to keep them honest. All the breads are amazing and to die for. I'm a fan.

I was so excited for this location to open up as this has to be one of my favorite bakery chains. Always a go to stop! There's a great assortment of bakery goods and drinks at this location. Lately I've been favoring either the matcha mango latte or the matcha strawberry latte. Those whom are lactose intolerant, rejoice, you can substitute for oat milk or another alternative for a good amount of the drinks. The service is quick and the staff is friendly. This place is super casual. There's a limited amount of seats inside. This is more so a place to grab and go. Parking is easy; there's a dedicated parking area. There's also a drink kiosk to the left when you enter as a quicker alternative to ordering than at the register.

On a Tuesday afternoon, I felt a bit thirsty...to quench my first I felt like some boba tea. As I haven't tried this bakery, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to experience this newish location in Simi Valley. At about 1:30 when I walked in, the bakery was empty. The employee says people come in waves! While waiting for my drink. I had an opportunity to review the bake goods: this bakery offers whole cakes such as German chocolate cake, mango and more. They also offer a variety of bread items: nothing looked really sweet like a typical bakery. The refreshments seem to be cheaper than Starbucks. The boba tea drinks seem cheaper as well. My oolong tea with boba was good but I need to remember to tell them less sugar if I come back for another one. Limited seating inside. There is a long bar seating area and tables. If place is busy, I imagine the seating would fill up quickly. There are also tables in the dinning area.
